Neelam is a Branch Manager at Meeting Place Evolve -Brampton bringing to life, RBC’s vision of future of banking through digital transformation, and primary focus on developing deeper relationships with clients.
She proudly joined RBC as a newcomer to Canada in 2014, as part time teller and has successfully held numerous positions within RBC Retail Banking. Her biggest achievement was being awarded the RBC Conference award for excellence as Banking Advisor at RBC’s very first Alternate Branch Format -Newcomer Meeting Place Brampton recognized for business development and bringing to life RBC’s community initiative in the newcomer space.
She has previously lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai, working in the Fashion and garment Industry managing the business development and supply chain process from sourcing to garment completion for a multinational manufacturing company. Having travelled extensively and lived and worked in different countries, she has acquired the unique skill set of adaptability, open mindedness, and a sense of comfort in multicultural environs.
In her spare time, Neelam is a community contributor, serving as a mentor and coach to clients of various Not for profit Organizations like Access employment, Brampton Multicultural Center, Dixie-Bloor newcomer services, and TRIEC. She is a proud volunteer with Mosaic ERG supporting promotion of DEI at RBC. She is also a brand ambassador for Rotman’s executive program for newcomers known as Intercultural skills lab, where she has contributed frequently through her articles and career coaching to Internationally educated professionals.
